From staff dressed as dominoes, the Peanuts Gang and even the cast of Toy Story to hands-on student activities including class parties, trips to pumpkin patches and pumpkin carving workshops, there was plenty of Halloween spirit and community building on display across the District this week.

At the board office, staff competed in a costume contest as well as some fun games, and were also paid a visit from some trick-or-treaters from Nicomekl Elementary.

At Noel Booth Elementary, Grade 5 students took on leadership roles, and organized Halloween-themed games for younger students, while students at Glenwood Elementary were greeted at school by parents handing out goodies as part of a ‘Truck or Treat’ event.

Meanwhile, at Coghlan Fundamental Elementary, students showed off their creative Halloween ensembles in a school-wide costume parade.
