Choice Program Registration
The Langley School District is proud to offer several Programs of Choice located in various sites throughout the District. Entry into these programs is by application only. These programs include:
- Early French Immersion (Kindergarten entry – Belmont, James Kennedy)
- Late French Immersion (Grade 6 entry – Alex Hope and Noel Booth)
- Fine Arts (Kindergarten entry – Langley Fine Arts School)
- Fundamental (Kindergarten entry – Coghlan Fundamental, Langley Fundamental)
- Montessori (Kindergarten entry – Uplands)
- U-Connect (Kindergarten entry – Simonds)
- Langley Environmental Awareness Program (Kindergarten entry to Grade 6 – Fort Langley)

Registration for entry into programs in September 2025 has closed. If you have registered and you need to access your account, click HERE.
Registration for entry into programs in September 2026 will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025 at noon until Monday, October 20, 2025. Please check back in Fall 2025 for instructions.
Please note registration for some programs such as Montessori at Uplands and U-Connect are open until filled. Should you require assistance please contact the School Board Office at 604-534-7891.
It is important to note, children who have accepted Kindergarten entry at a District Choice Program do not need to register at their catchment school. As per District Policy 18 Student Transportation, school district transportation services will not be provided for students attending Choice programs.

At the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education held on December 8, 2015, the Board voted to adopt changes to Policy 5084 (Application to Enter Choice Programs). The significant changes to the policy include:
- Moving to an online registration process for entry to a choice program in the following school year;
- Limiting a parent’s choice to a maximum of two programs;
- Application 11 months prior to entry point into the program
- Changing the priority ranking for accepting students to a choice program to favour Langley resident students;
- A random draw process for selecting eligible students when there are more applicants than seats for a particular choice program.
