Naming Process for Future Middle and Secondary Schools in Smith Area
School District No. 35 (Langley) is now accepting submissions from the public for the name of the future middle and secondary school in the Smith area. The schools are scheduled to open in Fall 2027 at 7467 212 Connector (Middle School) and 7587 212 Connector (Secondary School). Names should reflect the geographical area or names of prominent persons, including deceased persons.
Submissions must be completed in full and must include the name and contact information of the person or group making the suggestion and a rationale for the suggested name, including any background information that you have. Submission forms can be downloaded from our District website.

Submissions must be returned by Monday, Nov. 24, 2025 to the Office of the Secretary-Treasurer at the Langley School Board Office, 4875 – 222 Street, Langley, BC V3A 3Z7. Submissions may also be emailed to Judy Swanson at the following email address: jswanson@sd35.bc.ca.
