Around The District

Middle-school aged soccer players from across the District came together on National Indigenous Peoples Day to participate in the Nə́c̓aʔmat Cup. It was a memorable day of soccer and togetherness. Read more here.

 

Grad Walks are some of the most memorable events on the school calendar, as students get the chance to reconnect with former teachers and other staff members who were influential in helping them reach their education goals. Read more about them, and check out our videos, here.

 

The School District’s graduating Golden Eagles, from the Aboriginal Education Program, were honoured in a wonderful, moving ceremony earlier this spring. Read more about it here.

 

The modular expansion project is underway at Richard Bulpitt Elementary, and the students and staff have had the opportunity to see the construction in action. For an update on the project, see here.

 

The I.D.E.A Summit is one of the biggest events of the year for many District students, and this year it included a twist – the young entrepreneurs were tasked with creating a product that included recycled/upcycled elements. For an overview of the event, read here.
