Nature, styled right!

The Hairstylist Program at Aldergrove Community Secondary held its annual hair show last night. The theme: The Beauty of Mother Nature.

The stylists in the program spent the entire afternoon prepping the hair and make-up of their various models with creative looks, colours, and styles. Previous grads of the program came to assist the students in the monumental task of preparing the large cast.

Models carried the flash and splendour of their stylist’s chosen look down the runway. Bright oranges, blues, silvers, and reds glittered in the dim stage lighting.

The show concluded with Jason Malo and Jeremy Lindon, the principals, well made-up for the event, dancing to AC/DC.

A large thanks was given to Peggy Wickenden who teaches the Hairstyling program at ACSS. Without her the show could not go on.
