Langley Schools teacher-librarian Alison Hewitt has been awarded the Val Hamilton Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Columbia Teacher-Librarians’ Association (BCTLA). The BCTLA recognizes the commitment and achievement of teacher-librarians who have made outstanding contributions to teacher-librarianship, school libraries, and the organization. This award is presented annually by the BCTLA for an outstanding, substantial and recognizable long-standing contribution to school libraries.
