French Immersion Celebration Week

February 2, 2017

Did you know that in BC, 46 school districts offer a French Immersion program to over 53,000 students?

Bilingualism is an asset for the students of our province and that is why the government of British Columbia is proclaiming the week of January 30 to February 5, 2017 “French Immersion Celebration Week” to support students and educators involved in French Immersion throughout the province.

Over this week, Canadian Parents for French  in BC & Yukon will host fun-filled activities for French Immersion students and their families in their communities. Please visit the Canadian Parents for French website to learn more.

Be sure to seize this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate student success as well as the contribution of your French Immersion educators.

Bonne semaine de célébration de l’immersion en français!
