Christmas at Stafford full of talent

‘Tis the season for Christmas concerts, and they’ve been happening all across the district this week. HD Stafford Middle School held theirs on Tuesday, December 18.

The concert was full of amazing dancing, singing, and orchestral ensembles. It began with a sign-language version (both sung and signed) of We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Multiculturalism was also a focus of the event. With Diwali recently passing in November, there was a number of Bhangra dances performed by the school’s first Bhangra dance club, as well as a solo Bhangra dance.

HD Stafford seems to have some hidden talent as well in singing! Two girls were brave enough to do solos, one to All I Want for Christmas, and the other to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. Even Simon Cowell would have teared up.

At the end of it all, staff surprised the students with an energetic dance accented by the sudden arrival of a funky Santa.
