Blacklock Christmas Store

There’s more in store at Blacklock than you can imagine! Each year Blacklock Elementary collects donated items for their Christmas store that are then set out for students to shop for Christmas gifts for their whole family. Items are priced from 10 cents to 3 dollars, though most are 1 dollar. Each class spends some time shopping for those people on their list (including pets!) and all the money collected goes to help families in the community with Christmas hampers – it’s a gift shopping experience that keeps on giving! A large group of parents were also on hand to provide wrapping for the newly purchased items. Students were able to purchase affordable gifts for their family members and have a great time as well.
