BC Lions touch down at LSS to serve breakfast

It wasn’t just anyone serving breakfast for the Breakfast Club at LSS this Monday morning. Two members of the BC Lions came out to visit the school today: Jonathon Jennings and Emmanuel Arceneaux. The pair handed out plates to students, who were lined up down the hall in the cafeteria.

Students crowded together in the cafeteria to participate in trivia games and a raffle draw. Tickets to the upcoming BC Lions home game were among the prizes. Meanwhile the visiting Lions had a chance to go around and chat with the students. Photo opportunities followed, and everyone lined up to chat and have their photos taken with Jennings and Arceneaux.

The morning was organized with the assistance of the Langley School District Foundation and Premium Brands, who are both proud supporters of the school’s Breakfast Program.
