ACSS Hairstylist program visits LFA for Career Days

November 2 was Career Day at Langley Fine Arts school in Fort Langley. The day involves seminar presentations by professionals in various career fields including Aviation, Animation, Film, Nursing, Tourism and much more.

However, they also had the special privilege of being visited by students from the Hairstylist program at ACSS.

They staged a practical demonstration in the Gallery area of LFA, where passing students could have their hair styled, or they could try their hand at styling on a mannequin head. They were able to learn how to effectively curl hair without damaging it. Information on joining the program was also readily available.

The hairstyling program plans on touring several high schools for career info days in the coming months.
