Kids Helping Kids Clothing Drive a Huge Success!

Once again the Kids Helping Kids Clothing Drive supported by the students of Langley and the Langley School District Foundation has been a great success. In third place, Dorothy Peacock Elementary gathered 6.95 pounds of clothes per student. To secure second spot, RC Garnett produced 7.51 pounds of clothes per student and, for the second year in a row, Willoughby took first place after they collected a whopping 8.37 pounds per student! Twenty six District schools took part in the clothing drive, representing 11,723 kids helping kids. The total amount of clothes collected was 24,795.4 pounds or about .41 pounds per student. The total dollar amount should be in the range of $5,000. Congratulations to those kids helping kids!
