November 17, 2021

Langley, BC – The Langley School District is pleased to announce the appointments of Edward (Woody) Bradford as Deputy Superintendent of Schools, Lisa Lainchbury and Marcello Moino as Assistant Superintendents of Schools effective on January 4, 2022.

“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Lainchbury and Mr. Moino to our leadership team. They both bring a tremendous amount of diverse school experiences, professional development of staff, and relationship building with students and families which will benefit our District,” says Mal Gill, Deputy Superintendent of Schools. “We are excited to continue working with Mr. Bradford in this new capacity, as his educational leadership and operations management will serve our fast-growing District well in the future.”

Prior to coming to the Langley School District, Ms. Lainchbury served as Principal at Dormick Park Elementary in the Abbotsford School District, and as Vice-Principal of the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts. She has over two decades of experience as both a teacher and administrator and is very excited to be taking on this new challenge at the District level.

He transitioned to administration in 2006 as Vice-Principal at Brookswood Secondary before being named Principal at BSS in 2013. He has served as Principal of Langley Secondary School since 2017, where he has overseen the recently completed renovation/re-build of the facility while maintaining the culture and history of Langley’s oldest secondary school, working closely with ya:yəstəl’ to re-brand LSS.
