
The Career Discoveries Program works with students from all around the Langley School District in grades 10, 11, and 12. The goal of the Career Discoveries Program is to place diverse learners in real workplace environments so they can learn and practice employability skills. Employability skills help a student get and keep a job while helping them to be as independent as possible.
To qualify for the Career Discoveries Program a student must:
- Have diverse learning needs (with Ministry designation and current IEP)
- Be enrolled in a school completion program
- Have an updated resume
- Have completed a work safety training workshop
- Be willing and feel ready to work
