The Inaugural Meeting of the Langley Board of Education was not streamed live.

The new Langley Board of Education has been sworn in by the Honourable Judge Rita Bowry and Trustee Megan Dykeman has been elected Board Chair. Trustee Shelley Coburn has been elected Vice Chair.

Langley grade 12 student Ava Kornum led the assembled crowd in the singing of Oh Canada to open the meeting, followed by an honouring and blessing from Kwantlen First Nations Hereditary Chief Marilyn Gabriel, Kevin Kelly, Michael Kelly-Gabriel and Katzie First Nation Education Coordinator David Farnworth. The meeting adjourned once the Chair and Vice Chair were elected.
