Cops for Cancer visits Langley Fundamental Middle/Secondary

Yesterday, Cops for Cancer – Tour de Valley cycled its way through Langley, and Langley Fundamental Middle/Secondary had the honour of a visit.

The annual Tour de Coast has several law enforcement and emergency workers bike across BC, through Vancouver Island, Northern BC, Vancouver, and the Fraser Valley, over several weeks. The ride is meant to “fund life-saving research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes to reduce its impact,” according to the Tour de Coast website.

Langley Fundamental raised over $1000 dollars in support of the charity. Students were invited out to watch as the cyclists passed through the school grounds with decorated banners and hearty cheering.
